5 Projects To Try This Autumn

Since it's finally getting colder out and we're all wearing our favorite sweaters I thought it would be the perfect time to share a few projects that you can work on while snuggled up inside. I know I spend a lot of time indoors this time of year and that means crafting! Plus all of these diy projects are perfect for working on while you're catching up on your favorite TV show or reading blogs ;)

1. Owl Garland
This a cute and easy way to make your home a bit more festive this fall. Just save your toilet paper rolls and make them into this owl garland. This is a great project for kiddos too!

2. Knotted Crochet Headband
This is a great project for beginner crocheters that will keep your head and ears nice and warm this fall and winter. It would also make a great gift around the holidays!

3. Make A Rug
This project can be a little time consuming but it is the perfect crochet project to pick up ever so often. I like to have a few quick projects to work on and a few long term projects as well. This is a project that would fall into the long term category depending on how large of a rug you want. Either way it is another good beginner crochet project to try this fall.

4. Make a Weaving
Weaving has been a super popular craft project this year so if you haven't tried to make one of your own this autumn is the perfect time to try. You don't need to know how to crochet or knit and they make great gifts.

5. Crochet Slippers
Another crochet project, what can I say? They're my favorites! These crochet slippers take some assembly but they're sure to keep your feet warm around the house this fall and winter.

I hope this inspired you to get crafty and make something when you're cooped up inside this fall, and definitely let me know if you decided to try out any of my fall friendly projects ;)
