Just Peachy ( 30 by 30: fifteen)

On accident I assembled an outfit that falls into the 30 by 30 challenge. This is outfit fifteen meaning I'm halfway through the challenge (finally!). I wasn't even thinking about the challenge when I got dressed. I wanted to put together the perfect summer look. I don't think it get's much more summery than a white/cream colored dress accessorized with blush/peachy tones. I'm sort of obsessed with this blush color currently. It goes with nearly everything and it's a color that works in both summer and fall when paired with the right colors ;) I'm looking out for the perfect blush handbag next.

Tangerine

 I've always been a fan of orange. I've worn it a lot in outfit photos before but I've never tried this shade of orange, instead opting for burnt orange or red orange. In the summer time this particular shade seemed more appropriate. Tangerine is bright and fun making it the perfect shade of orange this time of year. Today I paired it with simple cut off jean shorts and a summer scarf for a casual everyday look but a simple shirt like this is incredibly versatile.

Independence Day

This summer is just flying by! I can hardly believe the fourth of July is already here!
 I wanted to put together a festive outfit for today and although I wish I had a red cardigan to go with this dress I like how this look came out. It's festive without being too obvious.  It's hard to wear red, white, and blue without looking like an American flag, and I think this look is a subtle nod at the holiday.
I don't have anywhere to wear this look to, but that's okay! I'm just hoping to spend some time with the hubby grilling and relaxing and possibly watching fireworks from out patio. Sounds like the perfect low-key fourth of July to me :)

Look at me sharing another out this summer, didn't think I would be so quick with it did you? Well going through my past summer outfits last week had me pretty inspired. I even incorporated a lot of the same colors and patterns as in those summertime outfits. I did add in touches of gold to update it a little bit from past looks because I've really been into gold jewelry lately. I love neutral somewhat minimal looks such as this one - in fact it would almost be perfect if not for my wrinkled shirt - but then it wouldn't be me, would it?

This is now my third year of taking outfit photos & that makes it pretty fun to look back on past outfits from the summer season and see how far I've come. I decided to compile my favorite summer looks & I've realized my style has stayed pretty consistent. This has me motivated to start taking more outfit photos this summer because so far I've only shared one! Talk about being a slacker :P

Patio Wear Revisited

 I took these outfit photos in May and I've been meaning to share them but I have been busy this summer so I'm just now getting around to it. Better late than never, right? I got this top from Target in the spring and it is the perfect breezy boho top for summer. I sized up on it so it would be extra breezy and I'm glad I did. I love the fit.

 You can also see a little bit of my patio in these photos. One of my favorite things about our new apartment is the patio. It's huge! I've always enjoyed having plants and spending time outside during the summer, & we've definitely upgraded things since these photos were taken. I'm still wanting to add more but there's plenty of time left for that!

 I'll try not to be such a stranger the rest of the summer.
