While my husband I do like to celebrate Valentine's Day we don't usually go about it in the typical sense. If you've followed HN for a while you already know that I like to make things at home whenever possible. Valentine's Day is no different! While I'm not opposed to heart shaped chocolate boxes or store bought roses I do have a few ways to make your Valentine's Day a bit more homemade.
This garland will take you a little time to make but you can decorate with it year after year,
Plus nothing says Valentine's Day like pink and red hearts!
This fudge is delicious and takes barely and time, and only a few ingredients to make. You could even use a heart-shaped cookie cutter to make the fudge even more appropriate for Valentine's Day.
This wall art takes minutes to make and is another decoration you can display every Valentine's Day for years to come!
Substituting cranberries for the raisins make oatmeal cookies the perfect festive treat.
These
romantic doilies make cute table decor or can be used as coasters as
well, and you can make them in any color you fancy.
These blondies are the perfect dessert for your sweetie. Nothing is more romantic that homemade treats!
I hope this list gave you some ideas on how to make a more homemade Valentine's Day!
