Cranberry Oatmeal Cookies

I have been wanting to find a good Oatmeal Cookie recipe for some time now. My husband loves oatmeal cookies so I sort of had to. The other day we both had a sweet tooth and we decided to make cranberry oatmeal cookies. We used this recipe, and just swapped out the raisins for dried cranberries.

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F

2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon kosher salt
(combine dry ingredients and set aside)

1 cup unsalted butter, softened
1 cup sugar
1 cup dark brown sugar, firmly packed
2 large eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla
(cream together wet ingredients in a large bowl, then add in dry ingredients little by little mixing as you go.)

3 cups oats (not instant)
1 1/2 cups raisins
(once wet and dry ingredients are combined add in the oats, one cup at a time, mixing as you go, then the cranberries.)

Form cookies into 2 tablespoon sized rounds.
bake for 11-13 minutes on a greased cookie sheet.

I'm happy to announce that we loved this recipe. These cookies are SO delicious and I'm glad to add them to my cookie recipe stash. This recipe yields a lot of cookies too, so we'll have our sweet tooth on lock for awhile ;)

If you're craving oatmeal cookies any time soon definitely give this recipe a try. You wont be disappointed.
