My favorite outfits of 2015

Today I thought I'd do a little round up of my favorite outfits from 2015. I didn't share as many outfits as I had intended to this year but in my defense it's been one whirlwind of a year! I posted a lot of looks when 2015 started and then kind of slowed down in the summer after I found out I was pregnant. I actually would have liked to share more maternity looks but I made the decision to have a relatively small maternity wardrobe so it didn't make sense to post a lot of outfits of the same few tips! Anyway enough rambling, here are my favorite looks from 2015!

how the leopard got its spots
Hat & Jeans: Target (jeans diy rips) // Sweater & Boots JcPenney

Cardigan & Wedges: Target // Top, jeans, & clutch: JcPenney

Necklace, Top, & Jeans: JcPenney (diy rips on jeans) // Slip-on Sneakers: Old Navy

Jean Jacket: Chadwicks of Boston // Dress and flats: Target // Purse: JcPenney // Belt: Thrifted

Sweater and Wedges: Target // Maxi Skirt: JcPenney

Hat, cardigan, leggings, and necklace: Target // Dress & belt: Thrifted // Boots: JcPenney
Scarf: a gift

Hat & Flats: Target // Glasses, Skirt, & Belt: Thrifted // Top & Bracelet: JcPenney

Hat & Top: Target // Shorts: Thrifted // Sandals: Hand-me-downs // Sunglasses: Vintage

Earrings: Target // Necklace: Mia's Mirror // Top, skirt, purse, wedges: JcPenney

Top: Thrifted // Purse: JcPenney // Maternity Jeans & flats: Target

I continued my love for neutrals this year specifically black and white prints, denim, and olive green paired with cognac accessories. My favorite looks are almost always neutral looks that lean towards minimal or boho style. I always love bohemian inspired looks when the weather warms up but deep down simple looks are my jam. I love jeans and neutrals, what can I say?
These outfits make me wish I had been better about sharing outfits after I found out I was pregnant because I built my maternity wardrobe around neutrals like these! Maybe I can get my butt in gear and share a few more maternity outfits before this baby makes its debut ;) I'll definitely try but it's tricky this time of year when it gets dark so early.

Anyway, back to the fact that the year is ending, it's insane to me that 2015 is over. I wasn't exaggerating when I said this year was a whirlwind, SO much has happened and changed since the year started. I lived with my in laws for a little while, started working at new location for my job in a new position, moved out of my in laws into an apartment, traveled a little, found out I was pregnant and became an aunt. Not to mention getting ready to move again soon and have a baby in just a matter or weeks! It was such a crazy year. I hope you had a good 2015, I did despite all the insanity! I'm so excited for what's to come in 2016! I'm not making any New Years resolutions because I definitely have enough on my plate but I'm always hoping to make the coming year better than the last!
Are you making any resolutions for 2016?

Best Posts of November

Caturday, how could this not be in my favorites of November? I can't resist any kitty, let alone this cute little guy.
Crochet Collar has to be my favorite outfit post to date. Nothing makes me happier than a thrifted outfit!
November Dream via polyvore was another favorite post from November. Seriously, if you haven't tried playing with polyvore at least once, you should. It's definitely worth a try if you like window shopping and putting outfits together, because it combines both of those things!
Crochet Update, this is one of my favorite crochet projects so far, and I'm loving working on it on chilly evenings. Even better is through this blog I can keep track of the progress I am making.

What were some of your favorite things or events from this past month?
