Fall Vibes

 

Well there are officially pumpkins at the grocery store so I think it's safe to start fully embracing autumn. We are still a few days away from the first official day of fall but there's nothing wrong with getting a head start on things. Autumn is easily my favorite season and there are so many ways I celebrate it and make it special. I love autumn leaves and everything pumpkin spice scented.

Christmas Vibes

 So with it being December first I can finally share my excitement for all things Winter and Christmas related. I love Christmas time and decorating for the holidays. I don't have a huge collection but I love adding and making new things every year to add to my Christmas decor.

 So far I have made a paper chain to count down the days until Christmas and I've also been working on crocheting a stocking. I found this pin and decided to make my own candy cane garland. This is a super cute and incredibly affordable Christmas "craft" to try.

I've been making a list of all the fun Christmas related activities I want to do this month and have already made progress :) It really is the most wonderful time of the year but it isn't going to go by slow so I'm going to do my best to make the most of the next twenty-four days.

Fall Vibes

It's the first day of Fall. It's finally official and I couldn't be more excited.

There's been a recent drop in temperatures around here lately as well so it definitely is starting to sink in that Autumn is upon us now. The summer seemed to both fly by and take forever. I've always loved fall so maybe that is why I have mixed feelings about summer time. I love pumpkin spice candles and chai tea. I love changing fall leaves and sweater weather. I love Halloween and Thanksgiving. I have my 25th Birthday to look forward to. There are a lot of amazing things about this time of year.

I've already been hard at work getting us ready for this season. We got a new throw in a fall shade for extra coziness. I've been getting all my soup and cookie recipes down and we've both been consuming insane amounts of coffee. We are getting prepared this year ;)

I've been trying to resist buying a pumpkin but it's getting harder and harder. haha. I feel like I always buy them way too early and of course I can't carve a bad pumpkin. I may just buy some mums for my patio to hold me off a little bit longer.

 The good news is I have a lot of stuff planned for this fall. Autumn always inspires me. I've been painting and working on redecorating during most of my free time. I also have some recipes and other stuff to share soon. So excited it's finally Fall!

Summer Vibes.

craving a trip to the beach lately as it seems summer has arrived for Texas. The weather has officially warmed up. I'm ready for all the fun things summer brings, like barbeques, beach trips with seafood and fruit drinks. I  definitely have summer on the brain!
