Remix: Distressed Black Skinnies

Distressed black skinny jeans have been all over my pinterest boards lately. I just can't get enough. I've always had a thing for black skinnies, but after I began following Crystalin Marie I knew I need a good distressed pair in my life. I (almost immediately) took a pair of scissors to my older pair of black jeans and then (nearly immediately) fell in love with them. So what's the big difference between regular old black jeans and a distressed pair? The truth is there really isn't a lot difference except that a distressed pair adds texture, interest, and a bit of a casual flare to whatever you style them with. They may not be suitable for every taste, but I'm a grunge lover and I tend to gravitate towards casual style so these fit amazingly into my closet. I also think that they're incredibly versatile, even more so than regular old blue jeans (gasp!).

Here I wear them with mostly neutrals, but if you're a color lover than fear not, black goes with everything! Believe it or not distressed black jeans are even easy to dress up. Just add some pointy pumps, a pretty blouse, and your favorite clutch and you have the perfect outfit for a date night or girl's night out.
