We are loving every minute of spring so far around here. We've been
opening the windows and our patio door and enjoying the beautiful
weather as much as we possibly can. It feels like we waited forever to
get here and I don't want to take it for granted. One of my favorite
things about the past few weeks has been watching everything come back
to life. Our garden is slowly growing and wildflowers have started covering the roadsides.
When you grow up in Texas it's almost a requirement that you take pictures in bluebonnets that grow wild everywhere. They've been blooming recently and it reminded me of taking pictures in them with my brother and sister when were kids. I may have to find a few of those old pictures the next time I visit my parent's house because I can't see the wild flowers without thinking of them. Maybe I can even get a few new ones for old time's sake.
