wine corks + polka dots

 pictured here are the supplies i used (after i had already painted my canvas black). I have a canvas, a paint brush, a wine cork, and white paint. There's really no technique, I used the wine cork as a stamp to create a rustic handmade polka dot pattern. i began at the corners to try to keep things even and hand the paint brush on hand for quick touch ups.

I love how it came out as it pairs up really nicely with my hand-painted jewelry box and other black and white items I've recently added to my bedroom decor. Anyway like i said, this DIY is super easy and could be easily modified to create other patterns as well. :) hope this inspires you to make some easy art for your own home!
