I went to a local pumpkin patch with my sister and thought that it would be the perfect place for outfit photos. I always loved seeing other blogger's outfit pictures with pumpkins and autumn leaves and the leaves haven't quite started changing in Texas yet, so a pumpkin patch it was. I have to admit I'm pretty pleased that I finally got some autumn-festive photos. Fall has always been my very favorite season and I'm so inspired and excited to take more photos like these! Aside from the awesome pictures I got to take I also got to spend a day hanging out with my sister for the first time in forever. It was such a special day for so many reasons, and it really has me excited for my days like it this fall.

Orange will forever be my favorite fall color. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE mustard and wine in the fall (not to eat, gross!). While those are lovely autumn shades, nothing beats shades of orange this time of year. Orange just seems to stir up memories of pumpkins and fallen leaves. So when I first got this maxi dress I knew it would be a good fall maxi because of it's great color palette which includes a red-orange shade that reminds me of a pumpkin. Since I finally had the chance to style it for fall I paired it with this orange boyfriend cardigan that is always a autumn staple in my closet. To top off the autumn feel I knew this outfit needed a hat. I went with the one I thrifted that matches my Old Navy mocs perfects. I'm pretty pleased with my first attempt to style this dress in the fall.

Oranges And Olives

Orange and olive green are two of my favorite colors to wear but I never really considered wearing them together. I'm pretty happy with how they look together but it definitely comes off to me as more of a fall color scheme. Either way I like this outfit. I pretty much love any outfit with this skirt because it's just so amazing.

 I have been day dreaming about fall and fall clothes. I think fall is my favorite time of year to get dressed. I love sweaters and leggings and fall colors. Olive green and orange seem like the perfect color pairing for fall so that makes me excited since I've added a lot of new olive colored clothing in the past year ;)

All of this talk about fall may have fooled you into thinking I'm over summer, but I assure you I am not. I suppose that is a good thing since there is still so much summertime left. Luckily I have some awesome things coming up soon that I'm looking forward to :)
