Capsule wardrobes are all the rage right now, and although I consider myself somewhat of a closet minimalist I couldn't see myself surviving a capsule wardrobe for an entire season. Instead I've opted for a 30 by 30 wardrobe challenge. What is a 30 by 30 challenge? Pick 30 items from your closet and remix them into 30 outfits. The point of this sort of challenge is to show yourself all the potential your current closet already holds. I picked out 30 of my favorite items, a lot of which you've already seen a whole lot of on HN, and my plan is to create 30 outfits I truly love, and would wear on the reg.
I have included a variety of different pieces to remix that include tops, sweaters, dresses, jackets, pants, and shoes. Items not included in the remix are hats, jewelry, tights, scarves, purses ect. I'm super excited for this challenge and hope that it results in me having a better understanding of how to wear what I already have in my closet and also what my wardrobe may be lacking.
Have you ever tried a challenge like this yourself? I'd love to hear any tips or suggestions you may have!
